What Is Conversion Rate?

The percentage of visitors or viewers who complete a purchase, calculated as orders divided by clicks or views.

Definition

Conversion Rate (CVR). The percentage of visitors or viewers who complete a purchase, calculated as orders divided by clicks or views.

Overview

Conversion rate, sometimes shortened to CVR, is the percentage of people who complete a purchase out of those who had the chance. It is usually calculated as orders divided by clicks (or views) on TikTok Shop.

It is the metric that tells you how well attention turns into sales once a viewer is interested.

How it works

If 1,000 people click a product link and 30 buy, the conversion rate is 3%. The number depends on price, reviews, product fit, and how convincing the creator content was.

Why it matters

Conversion rate is the multiplier on all your traffic. Doubling it doubles sales without a single extra view, which is why improving content quality, pricing, and product pages often beats simply chasing more reach.

How brands use it

Brands watch conversion rate by creator and by SKU to find what actually sells, then concentrate samples, commission, and ad spend behind the high-converting combinations.

How Hubfluence supports this workflow
