Overview
A product card is the tappable link that connects a piece of TikTok content to a specific product in TikTok Shop. It shows up as a small anchor in a video, a pinned item in a LIVE, or a product on a creator or shop profile.
Because the card opens the product page inside the app, it removes the drop-off that happens when shoppers have to leave TikTok to buy elsewhere.
How it works
When a creator posts an affiliate video or a brand tags its own product, TikTok attaches a product card that carries the affiliate or shop attribution. Taps route the sale back to the right creator and content.
In a LIVE, the host pins the card so viewers see the exact product being demoed and can check out in real time.
Why it matters
The product card is the mechanic that makes social commerce work: it collapses discovery and purchase into a single in-app path, which lifts conversion versus sending people to an external site.
It is also what ties GMV back to a specific video and creator, giving brands the attribution they need to know which content actually sells.
How brands use it
Brands make sure every affiliate video and LIVE has the correct product card attached, so no sale goes unattributed and every creator gets credited for the GMV they drive.
How Hubfluence supports this workflow
Hubfluence connects the sales from product cards back to the creators and videos behind them, so you can see which partners and posts convert and reward the ones that perform.
