What creator usage rights are
Usage rights are a creator's permission for your brand to reuse the content they made. Without them, a great creator video is stuck as a single organic post. With them, you can run that video as a paid ad, put it on your product pages, or repurpose it across channels.
The catch is that rights have to be requested, granted, and recorded per creator, and usually per piece of content. At any real volume, tracking who granted what in a spreadsheet falls apart fast, and reusing content you are not actually cleared for is a genuine risk.
What the Usage Rights agent does
Usage Rights works exactly like the Spark Codes agent: you create it, set a threshold, and it handles the request and the record for you.
- Threshold-based requests. Point the agent at creators above a GMV threshold you set, so you only pursue rights for content worth reusing.
- Automated outreach. The agent reaches out to qualifying creators to request usage rights in your brand voice, without you sending each message.
- Response capture. When a creator responds granting rights, the agent captures the permission automatically.
- Filed in your dashboard. Granted rights are stored in Hubfluence so you always have a clear record of which content you are cleared to reuse.

How Usage Rights works
Set it up once and let it run against your creator program alongside the rest of Hubfluence's agents.
| Step | What you do | What the agent does |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Create the agent | Set up a Usage Rights agent and set a GMV threshold for which creators should be asked for rights. | Watches your program for creators who cross the threshold. |
| 2. Request | Approve the outreach copy once. | Messages qualifying creators to request usage rights in your brand voice. |
| 3. Collect | Nothing. The agent handles the conversation. | Captures the creator's grant of rights and files it in your dashboard as a clear record. |
Who this is for
Any brand or agency that reuses creator content in paid ads or owned channels and needs the rights locked down without the manual chase.
- Brand owners who want to run creator videos as ads and need clean permission on file.
- Agencies collecting usage rights across many clients and creator rosters at once.
- Performance marketers who only want rights for content from creators above a proven GMV bar.
- Teams that need a defensible record of what they are cleared to use, not a half-updated spreadsheet.
