How to Set Up Amazon MCF for TikTok Shop
Quick answer

Amazon MCF (Multi-Channel Fulfillment) lets you ship TikTok Shop orders from the same FBA inventory you already store in Amazon's warehouses. You connect the two through an approved integration (WebBee, AfterShip, Rithum, and others), point TikTok Shop at an MCF warehouse if needed, and Amazon picks, packs, and ships in unbranded boxes. Pricing is per unit with no monthly fee, and eligible sellers can earn up to 15% off fulfillment fees plus up to $1 in FBA credit per unit through 2026 Preferred Pricing.

This guide explains how to use Amazon MCF to fulfill TikTok Shop orders: what Multi-Channel Fulfillment is, what it costs in 2026, the new-seller incentives worth claiming, and the exact steps to connect it to your Shop.

What Amazon MCF is

Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment is Amazon's third-party logistics (3PL) service. It uses the exact same fulfillment network as FBA, the same warehouses, staff, and carriers, to ship orders that come from outside Amazon.com. The only difference from standard FBA is where the order originates.

With FBA, the order comes from Amazon.com. With MCF, the order comes from TikTok Shop, Shopify, eBay, Walmart, or your own site, and gets submitted to Amazon for fulfillment. Amazon then ships from the FBA inventory you already have on hand. Both order types draw from one shared inventory pool.

For TikTok Shop sellers, that is the whole appeal. If your products are already in Amazon's warehouses for FBA, you can fulfill TikTok Shop orders without a separate 3PL, a second inventory shipment, or a new warehouse contract. Amazon lists TikTok Shop as a formally supported MCF channel.

How MCF works for a TikTok Shop order

The order flow runs end to end in six steps:

  1. Inventory is already in Amazon. If you use FBA, your existing units are available for MCF automatically. No separate MCF-only stock.
  2. A buyer orders on TikTok Shop. Product, quantity, address, and delivery speed need to reach Amazon to trigger fulfillment.
  3. The order routes to MCF. This happens automatically through an integration, or manually through Seller Central, bulk upload, or the Selling Partner API.
  4. Amazon picks, packs, and ships. Orders go out in unbranded packaging by default (the Blank Box option) at no extra charge.
  5. Tracking flows back. Amazon returns the tracking number to TikTok Shop so the buyer sees real-time status.
  6. Inventory is deducted. The unit comes out of your shared FBA pool, so you manage one stock number across Amazon and TikTok Shop.

How to connect Amazon MCF to TikTok Shop

Amazon's own setup guide breaks the connection into a short prerequisite list plus an integration step. Here is the practical path.

Prerequisites

Before you start, confirm you have:

  • An active TikTok Shop Seller account with products listed.
  • An active Amazon Seller Central account with FBA inventory in stock.

Use an approved integration

To automate fulfillment and inventory sync, connect TikTok Shop to your Amazon Seller Central account through one of Amazon's supported apps. Amazon names WebBee, AfterShip, Rithum, and LINGXING among the direct options, and there are 15 TikTok Shop integrations in the MCF catalog, including social-commerce specialists like Order Desk and CedCommerce.

Once connected, the integration routes eligible TikTok Shop orders to MCF automatically, pulls tracking back, and keeps inventory counts in sync across both channels. You can also route through Shopify first (via the free Amazon MCF app for Shopify) and connect TikTok Shop downstream if that fits your stack better.

Configure the MCF warehouse in TikTok Shop

Whether you need to create a warehouse depends on your Shop's fulfillment setup:

  • If you have Seller Shipping access on TikTok Shop: you can keep fulfilling through MCF with no workflow changes and no need to create an MCF warehouse.
  • If you do not have Seller Shipping access: you must set up an MCF warehouse in TikTok Shop Seller Center.

Amazon uses many fulfillment centers, so it recommends designating one central warehouse address rather than trying to list them all. Amazon's example is fulfillment center CMH2 at 6050 Gateway Ct, Groveport, OH 43125. For Shops outside the US, use a centrally located Amazon fulfillment center in your region.

Set up returns correctly

This is the step sellers get wrong. Do not enter an Amazon warehouse address as your TikTok Shop return address. Amazon processes returns dynamically across multiple facilities, so there is no single MCF return address to list.

Instead, set a seller-controlled return address in TikTok Shop Seller Center: a 3PL you operate, your business address, or a dedicated returns partner. If you want returns to end up back at Amazon, receive them yourself first, then create the return in Seller Central, get the Amazon return label, and forward the item. You stay responsible for processing TikTok Shop returns and refunds inside Seller Center within the required window.

Confirm tracking

If you update tracking manually in Seller Center, select Amazon Shipping plus Amazon MCF as the logistics provider and enter the MCF tracking number (both AFTN and non-AFTN numbers are supported). If you use an integration or API, tracking syncs automatically with Amazon set as the shipping provider. No workflow change needed.

Amazon MCF fees in 2026

MCF uses transparent, per-unit pricing based on four variables: product size tier, shipping weight, units per order, and delivery speed. There is no monthly subscription and no setup fee. You pay only for units shipped. The definitive reference is Amazon's downloadable MCF rate card, and you should price your specific ASINs against it before committing.

Here is what changed and what to budget for in 2026:

  • 2026 fee increase. MCF fee changes took effect January 15, 2026. Single-unit orders rose an average of $0.35 to $0.41 per unit for most standard-size categories, a larger jump than the FBA increase over the same period.
  • Fuel and logistics surcharge. A 3.5% surcharge applies to US MCF fulfillment fees, added on top of the base rate.
  • Peak season surcharge. From October 15 to January 14, expect roughly $0.35 per unit for small standard items, scaling up to about $1.00 per unit for extra-large sizes.
  • Multi-unit volume discounts. Orders with multiple units get discounts of up to 50% on per-unit fulfillment fees, so bundles and multi-packs are the most cost-efficient way to run MCF.

Fees MCF does not include

The MCF fulfillment fee covers Amazon's cost to pick, pack, and ship. It does not cover:

  • TikTok Shop's own referral/commission fee, which the platform charges on the sale separately.
  • Monthly storage fees on unsold inventory, which continue whether or not MCF is active.
  • The aged inventory surcharge that starts at 181 days in the warehouse.

One important note in your favor: Amazon's referral fee does NOT apply to MCF orders, because that order sold on TikTok Shop, not Amazon.com. You pay TikTok's fee instead of Amazon's referral fee, not both.

New-seller incentives worth claiming

If you are new to MCF, several 2026 programs cut your fulfillment cost. Check current eligibility in Seller Central before you rely on any of them, but these are the ones to look for.

  • New-seller discount: 10% off your first 100 MCF units. Amazon applies this automatically when you start fulfilling off-Amazon orders through MCF. No application required. Amazon's supply chain blog also references incentives of up to 25% for new MCF users in some enrollment paths, so the exact number can vary.
  • 2026 Preferred Pricing: up to 15% off plus up to $1 FBA credit per unit. Launched January 15, 2026, this runs on two tracks: a 6-month track for new MCF users and a 12-month track for sellers with established volume, covering up to 100,000 units. Benefits apply automatically once you hit eligibility and are calculated weekly on your trailing 12-week shipping volume. Using MCF for TikTok Shop orders specifically can help you qualify.
  • Ships in Product Packaging (SIPP) discount. If an ASIN is SIPP-certified, Amazon ships it in its own packaging without an extra outer box, cutting dimensional-weight cost. The discount applies automatically for qualifying orders.
  • 35% off fulfillment promotion for TikTok Shop. Amazon has run a promotional rate specifically positioned for TikTok Shop orders. Promotional terms change, so confirm the current offer on Amazon's TikTok Shop MCF page before you plan around it.

MCF vs a standalone 3PL

The honest trade-off comes down to branding and product profile.

MCF wins on speed to launch and cost floor. If your inventory is already in FBA, turning on an additional channel costs almost nothing in setup, there is no monthly minimum, and Amazon's national warehouse footprint positions stock close to buyers automatically. For a TikTok Shop seller already running FBA, that is hard to beat.

A traditional 3PL wins when you need branded packaging, custom inserts, or a specific unboxing experience, since MCF ships unbranded by default with no branded-box option. A 3PL can also deliver better unit economics on heavy or oversized items where MCF's dimensional-weight fees climb, and its flat, category-agnostic pricing is simpler to model if most of your business is off Amazon with little FBA usage.

The practical rule: if you already use FBA, evaluate MCF first before signing a separate 3PL. If your brand experience depends on custom packaging, or your products are large and heavy, price a 3PL alongside it.

Why this matters for TikTok Shop brands and agencies

Fulfillment is the part of a TikTok Shop program that quietly decides whether a viral moment turns into repeat revenue or a wave of refunds. When a creator video takes off, orders spike in hours, and a seller shipping by hand or waiting on a slow 3PL will miss the delivery-speed and dispatch metrics TikTok grades them on. MCF plugs that gap by borrowing Amazon's network, which is why it matters most to brands whose demand is creator-driven and spiky rather than steady.

For brands, the takeaway is to get fulfillment sorted before you scale creator volume, not after. There is no point recruiting a hundred affiliates and funding samples if a hit video creates orders you cannot ship in three days. MCF (or a comparable 3PL) is the backstop that lets you say yes to a demand spike. Model the per-unit MCF fee plus TikTok's commission into your margin first, because the platforms stack their fees and a thin-margin SKU can go underwater fast.

For agencies, fulfillment readiness belongs on the onboarding checklist for every client. A client with slow shipping will blame the creator program for poor performance when the real bottleneck was logistics. Confirming that a client can fulfill fast, ideally through MCF or a vetted 3PL, protects the numbers your program gets judged on and keeps account health out of the danger zone.

This is also where the creator side and the operations side have to stay connected. The value of MCF only shows up if you know which creators and which videos are driving the order spikes, so you can forecast inventory and keep the right SKUs in stock. That is the same data a serious TikTok Shop program needs anyway: which creators post, which posts convert, and how much GMV each one drives. Hubfluence exists to run that creator side, finding creators, handling outreach and samples, and attributing GMV back to each one, so the demand you generate is demand you can actually plan fulfillment around.
