What Sellico does for sellers (all platforms)

Sellico is a compliant cold-start partner for storefronts across TikTok Shop, Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Chewy. Here is what they actually do on each platform: clearing TikTok probation and lifting invite limits, running compliant Amazon search-find-buys that help organic ranking, and launching new listings on the rest.

What Sellico does for sellers (all platforms)
Quick answer

Sellico helps brands cold start storefronts on TikTok Shop, Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Chewy by generating compliant, verified purchase activity through each platform's standard checkout, rather than bypassing any system. On TikTok Shop, that clears probation faster and lifts the GMV-gated creator invite limits. On Amazon, it runs compliant search-find-buy orders that build sales velocity on the SKUs you choose, which supports organic keyword ranking. On Walmart, Target, and Chewy, it produces the early order volume and reviews a new listing needs to start ranking. Everything runs through real checkout with verified purchases and FTC-disclosed reviews, which is what keeps account health intact.

What our partner Sellico actually does for sellers, platform by platform.

Most coverage of Sellico treats it as a TikTok Shop tool. It is, but that is only one corner of what they do. Sellico is a cold-start partner for storefronts across the major marketplaces: TikTok Shop, Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Chewy. The common thread is the hardest problem in ecommerce, the cold start, where a brand new listing has no sales history, no reviews, and no ranking, so the platform has no reason to show it to anyone.

The cold start problem, on every platform

Every marketplace has the same chicken-and-egg trap for new listings. To rank, you need sales velocity and reviews. To get sales, you need to rank or be discoverable. A brand new SKU sits at zero on both, and the algorithm has nothing to work with.

Each platform expresses this differently:

  • TikTok Shop gates you with a probation period (daily order caps and listing limits) and an invite allowance that only grows as your GMV grows.
  • Amazon ranks on sales velocity tied to keywords, so a new listing with no purchase history struggles to surface for the terms it should win.
  • Walmart, Target, and Chewy all reward early order volume and reviews, and bury listings that have neither.

Sellico's whole model is breaking that initial deadlock with real, verified order activity, so the listing earns the early signals the platform needs to start promoting it on its own.

Fully compliant by design

This is the part that matters most, so it is worth being precise. Sellico runs through each platform's standard checkout with verified purchases and FTC-disclosed reviews. It does not bypass systems, fake orders, or use mechanisms the platforms prohibit. The purchases are real and the reviews are disclosed.

That distinction is the difference between a launch tactic that compounds and one that gets your account suspended. Anything that fakes activity or routes around checkout puts your store at risk; producing genuine, disclosed purchase activity is what keeps your account health clean while still generating the signals that move the algorithm.

TikTok Shop: clear probation and unlock invites

On TikTok Shop, Sellico's Launchpad service targets the two gates that strangle new shops.

The first is probation. Every new shop starts in the Shop Probation Program with an Order Volume Limit that caps daily orders (as low as 50 a day at Beginner status) and a product listing cap. You graduate by proving consistent, reliable order volume. By producing steady daily orders through real verified purchases and the reviews that follow, Launchpad helps a shop satisfy those performance signals and move from Beginner to Standard to Premium, and out of the cap entirely. (We break the tiers down in detail in our guide to TikTok Shop probation and order limits.)

The second gate is creator invite limits. Outreach is capped by a weekly allowance that scales with trailing 30-day GMV: a 1,000-invite Starter Pack to begin, then 2,000 a week up to $2k GMV, 7,000 a week from $2k to $50k, and unlimited above $50k. Because the higher tiers are gated by GMV, building early verified sales is exactly what lifts a shop past the Starter Pack and into the higher invite tiers. (More on that ceiling in our breakdown of TikTok Shop outreach message limits.)

That second point is where Sellico and a creator program meet. Sellico clears the GMV gate so your invite limits open up; once they do, you want a system ready to put creators to work at volume. That is what Hubfluence handles: sourcing creators from the Creator Database and automating first-touch outreach with TikTok DM Sequences, so the moment your limits lift you are not starting from scratch.

Amazon: compliant search-find-buy for organic ranking

Amazon is the other half of Sellico's focus, and the mechanism is different.

Amazon's organic ranking is driven heavily by sales velocity attributed to specific search terms. A search-find-buy is exactly what it sounds like: a shopper searches a target keyword, finds your product in the results, and buys it, the same path an organic customer takes. Done compliantly through standard checkout, this tells Amazon's algorithm that your SKU converts for that keyword, which supports its organic ranking for that term.

Sellico runs these as compliant, verified purchases on the SKUs and keywords you choose. The practical effect for an Amazon brand is twofold:

  • Organic ranking support. Building real purchase velocity on your target keywords helps your listing climb for the terms you actually want to rank for, instead of waiting for ranking to appear on its own.
  • Velocity on chosen SKUs. You direct the activity to the specific products you are trying to launch or push, concentrating the signal where it moves the needle.

Because it routes through normal checkout with verified buyers, it builds the velocity and review base a new listing needs without the account-health risk of anything that fakes the activity.

Walmart, Target, and Chewy: launch the rest

Beyond the two big platforms, Sellico extends the same compliant cold-start model to other marketplaces where a new listing faces the same zero-history problem.

  • Walmart Marketplace. New listings on Walmart need early order volume and reviews to start surfacing in search and category browse. Sellico produces that initial verified activity so a fresh listing is not stuck invisible at launch.
  • Target (Target Plus). As Target's marketplace grows, new sellers face the familiar discoverability gap. The same approach builds early sales signals to get listings moving.
  • Chewy. In the pet vertical, where reviews and repeat-purchase signals carry weight, early verified order volume helps a new product establish itself.

The detail and volume vary by platform, but the principle is identical everywhere: generate genuine early purchase activity through standard checkout so the listing earns the signals it needs to rank and convert on its own.

Where this fits in a launch plan

Sellico solves the cold start. It is not a substitute for the demand engine that takes over once you are out of the gate, and it is not meant to be. The clean sequence looks like this: use Sellico to clear the initial gates (probation, ranking, reviews, velocity), then run a creator and content program to generate the durable, organic demand that keeps the listing growing.

On TikTok Shop especially, the two are complementary. Sellico lifts your GMV and opens your invite limits; a creator program fills those invites and turns them into the content volume the algorithm rewards. If you are launching a new shop or a new SKU and want to see how the cold-start push and the creator engine fit together, the Launchpad service is worth a look, and you can book a strategy call with us to map the creator side to your shop's stage.
